Bardney - St Lawrence © Copyright Richard Croft * |
There is an exhibition of stones which were unearthed from the site of Bardney Abbey in 1910. There are three charity boards that have survived from the 17th century. The chancel is decorated with pictures of saints including St Oswald and St Lawrence. A stained glass memorial window in the chancel is by Edward Woore, one of the Arts & Crafts artists trained by Christopher Whall. The church has connections with the RAF’s IX Squadron and their standard is laid up in the church.
