Fulstow, St Lawrence |
St Lawrence’s has 13th century origins and evidence of this can be seen on the walls. Restoration took place in 1868. The church lost its tower through collapse in the 1720s and only one bell remains in the Victorian bellcote.
The shaft of a medieval cross stands in the churchyard. Two medieval effigies are in the porch. St Lawrence’s is situated serenely at the edge of the village and is ideal for quiet prayer and contemplation.
