Gunby, St Peter*
In a leafy glade in grounds of Gunby Hall. Delightful medieval church, restored in 1870 by Victorian architect James Fowler. Early English, limestone walls and slate roof.  Memorials to Massingberd family, owners of Gunby, includes beautifully crafted brasses showing the couple standing under an ornate double canopy, dating from around 1400. On arrival please inform the stewards that you wish to enter the church, in order to allow free access.
