The first Lincolnshire #WoldsAndCoastChurches Festival is going to be a great celebration, with 140 churches opening their doors during the weekends of 31st August & 1st September and 7th & 8th September 2019
Built in 14th century near site of South Cockerington Hall, the seat of the Scrope family who were mentioned in three Shakespeare plays - Henry V, Richard II and Henry IV. Monument of Sir Adrian Scope in south wall of Nave. 8th September, 10am “Not Quite the Last Night of the Proms.” Red, white and blue decorations, music, refreshments, mini fete and fun dog activities.
