St Andrew’s Church is a Grade II* listed building, originally founded on this site in 1220. The current structure dates from the early 14th century, with additions made in the 15th century. The surrounding churchyard features a number of interesting monuments, A historic stone causeway connects the churchyard’s west gate to a 14 th -century packhorse bridge, which is a scheduled monument.
Inside the church, visitors can also view an exhibition of hand-embroidered kneelers. These were lovingly crafted by ladies from the village over a 12-year period, more than 20 years ago, as a celebration of community and heritage.
