Fulletby - St Andrew

Fulletby St Andrew*
This Grade II listed, slate-roofed church dates back to at least the 14th century, was rebuilt in the early 18th  century and restored c.1857 by Maughan and Fowler.  The church comprises nave, chancel, vestry to the north and a south porch. It is constructed of local Spilsby sandstone.  Set into the chancel south wall is a fine 14th century two-seat sedilia with crocketed ogee arches above.  Several examples of stone and wood carving by Richard Winn.  Church houses an information board about Henry Winn, Fulletby’s famous poet, historian and chronicler of Victorian village life.
