Approach the church, and note the unusual leaning tower! St Clement’s tells many stories of the history of the village: a plaque marks the height of the 1953 flood waters and the damage caused. Grave of a local infantryman killed while serving in Northern Ireland in 1972, aged just 21. Pleasant gardens to simply relax and enjoy a time away from the everyday bustle of life.
