The Mid Marsh Carltons - comprising Great, Little and Castle Carlton - have a long history with artefacts from CC on display in church dating back to the Neolithic Period.
There will also be displays covering the 21c discovery of a Saxon Island, as well as a range of local historical village documents and maps.
A 10-minute walk away, on the path between GC and LC, there is the graveyard of the now demolished St Edith’s Church, Little Carlton, which is also the location of the Saxon Island.
