John Wesley dedicated this unique Grade 1 listed Chapel in July 1779. Built in the grounds of Raithby Hall over the stable block by Robert Carr Brackenbury. Charles Wesley, a founding member of the Methodist movement is best known for writing the words for over 6500 hymns. Read and hear some of his stirring contributions to the world's musical history. Special display in our County's oldest Methodist Chapel: 'Rejoice! The Greatest Hymns of Charles Wesley, the Poet of Methodism
