Bratoft, St Peter & St Paul*
Church was built in the 14th century in a quiet rural setting. Bratoft is the birthplace of Revd Thomas Scott, well-known scholar and commentator on the Bible. The east window in his memory.
On view in the church is the extraordinary and probably unique allegorical painting of the Defeat of the Spanish Armada. It is five feet 1 inch high and six feet nine inches wide. The Church has links with Gunby Hall and the Massingberd family. A leaflet giving further information about the church is available.
